This project included the creation of an expanded emergency department that would function as two separate patient areas, resulting in a bright, warm environment and a strong ER gateway, visible from the adjacent roads. It defines smaller, intimate spaces within the lobby for family privacy and interaction. The curved-glass exterior wall provides abundant daylight. The project included a new 12,500-volt feeder to the boiler house for an additional chiller for the added cooling loads associated with the new addition. The electrical portions of the project included a renovation of the imaging systems to update for new technology. We provided new electrical work for the new X-ray rooms, CT scanners, and MRI rooms.
